Gluten-free events in Turin

Meetings for people who have just been diagnosed, a festival devoted entirely to gluten-free food and even a race through the city centre with a refreshment stop designed for people with coeliac disease: here are the events in Turin over the coming months.

We only publish events announced by their organisers and checked on their official websites, and on a second source whenever possible. Times and programmes can change, though: always check the official event page before you set off.

Calendar for the quarter

The table sums up the events from October to December 2026 in date order. The Vivere la Celiachia meetings appear three times, once for each date; La Mezza che Vale and La Dieci che Vale are run on the same day, but have two rows because the entry fees are different.

The fees for the two races are those in force from 11 October; no cost is given for the meetings at the hospital, so ask about it when you write to take part.

How to propose an event

Are you organising a gluten-free meeting, course or party in Turin, or do you know of one that is missing here? Let us know: we will add it after checking it on an official source, such as the organiser's website or the AIC Piemonte calendar.

Write to us at info@senzaglutinetorino.it with the subject ‘Event proposal’, giving the name, date, venue and a link to the official page. If the event is held at a place with a gluten-free offering, suggest the place too using the form: you can tell us about the event in the comments.

Frequently asked questions

Here we answer the most common questions about the events on this page. Select a question to open the answer: only one opens at a time.

The answers are based on the organisers' pages. For anything you cannot find here, write to them directly: their contact details are in the answers and behind the Details buttons above.

You need to send a request by email to AIC Piemonte, at food@aicpiemonte.it. Places are limited and the waiting time is roughly one month, so it is best to write well in advance; no cost is given on the event page.

The meetings are designed for children, young people and families with a recent diagnosis and are funded through the Waldensian Church's Otto per Mille (the share of income tax that Italian taxpayers can allocate). They are not a substitute for medical appointments: for diet and check-ups, your doctor or dietitian remains your point of reference.

According to Torino Cronaca, in an article of 25 September 2026, admission is free; the official website does not list any prices. The programme and times of the Turin stop have not been published yet: the festival website says ‘coming soon’.

The website names AIC and the AFC programme as partners, but the event does not appear in the AIC Piemonte calendar. For questions you can write to the organisers at info@ilfestivalsenzaglutine.it.

Yes: AIC Piemonte gives participants dedicated gluten-free refreshment packs, with products donated by the race sponsors. The half marathon is a national Bronze-level race approved by FIDAL, the Italian athletics federation; the 10 km also has a non-competitive section open to everyone.

Race bibs can be collected in Piazza Vittorio Veneto on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 7 am to 8 am. Entries close on 23 October for the half marathon and on 22 October for the 10 km, or earlier if 1,000 entries are reached.
