Contact and useful numbers
Do you have a question about the guide, have you spotted a detail that needs correcting, or would you like to tell us how it went at a place? Here you will find how to write to us, how quickly we reply and the contact details of the people in Turin who deal with coeliac disease every day.
Senza Glutine Torino is a community guide that started as a student project: we can help you find your way among gluten-free places and tips, but we do not give medical advice. For diagnosis, diet and exemptions, see your doctor or dietitian and the official services, such as AIC Piemonte (the Piedmont branch of the Italian Coeliac Association) and the local health authority, ASL Città di Torino: their contact details are in the Useful numbers box.
Write to us
The quickest way to reach us is by email. Write to us to ask for information about the guide or to let us know about a mistake: a place that has closed, an address that has changed, a gluten-free menu that is no longer offered.

Email: info@senzaglutinetorino.it
For a correction you can also use the link write to us to correct a detail, which fills in the subject of the message for you. If instead you want to suggest a new place, use the Suggest a place form: it asks you straight away for everything we need to check it.
Response times
We read every message and reply in the order they arrive. These are the response times we commit to:
- within 2 working days
- ‘Suggest a place’ form
- within 5 working days, because before publishing a place we check its official website and at least one other source
We are not an emergency service: if you feel unwell after a meal or have concerns about your health, contact your doctor. For questions about the gluten-free diet and the places in the AFC programme (Alimentazione Fuori Casa, ‘eating out’) you can also contact AIC Piemonte.
The association to turn to in Turin
In Turin the point of reference for people with coeliac disease is AIC Piemonte, that is, the Associazione Italiana Celiachia Piemonte APS (a registered social promotion association). It grew out of the Associazione Famiglie Bambini Celiaci, founded in 1978, and offers information and support to people with coeliac disease and their families, meetings for the newly diagnosed, courses for restaurateurs, canteens and teachers, and the AFC network of gluten-free places, which its professionals check periodically.
Its office is at Via Guido Reni 96 int. 99, 10136 Torino, and can be visited by appointment only, which you can arrange by phoning the helpline or writing to the secretariat (the contact details are in the Useful numbers box). The association's page on the Città della Salute website still lists an operational office at the Ospedale Infantile Regina Margherita children's hospital: the official AIC Piemonte website is the one to rely on.
If a place in the AFC network does not follow the rules, you can report it directly to AIC Piemonte using the link write to AIC Piemonte with the subject ‘segnalazione AFC – inosservanza’ (‘AFC report – non-compliance’): reports are handled anonymously.
If the map does not load, search for ‘Via Guido Reni 96, Torino’ on Google Maps.

Privacy notice (summary)
This is a summary of how we process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the GDPR. The site is a student project: the Suggest a place form does not save your data or send it to any database, and the confirmation page only simulates sending it.
Purposes and consent
The data you give us by email or through the form are used to read your suggestion, check it and, if necessary, contact you again for clarification; the optional password is used only to let you correct or withdraw your suggestion later. Only if you ask us to, using the optional boxes on the form, do we also use your data to let you know by email when your suggestion is published and to show your first name, without your surname, next to the suggestion. We never publish your surname, email address or phone number, and we do not pass your data on to third parties.
The processing is based on your consent, which you give by ticking the required box on the form: without consent the suggestion cannot be sent. The two optional boxes are separate consents: you can leave them unticked and still send your suggestion, and you can withdraw any consent at any time by writing to us. The map on this page is provided by Google: when it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google processes the data according to its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can exercise the rights granted by the GDPR at any time by writing to info@senzaglutinetorino.it. In particular, you have the right to:
- access: find out which data concern you and receive a copy;
- rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure: ask for your data to be deleted;
- objection and withdrawal of consent: stop the processing whenever you wish.
If you believe your data are not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
