Where to eat gluten-free in Turin

Eighteen places in Turin where you can eat out gluten-free: five restaurants, five pizzerias, three bakeries and pastry shops and five gelato shops, grouped by category and compared in a table.

For each place you will find the area, the address, the phone number and what it offers gluten-free (senza glutine). We also say whether it is part of the AFC programme (Alimentazione Fuori Casa, ‘eating out’) run by AIC, the Italian Coeliac Association: the network of places whose staff have taken a course on coeliac disease (celiachia) and which accept regular inspections (how the AFC programme works, in Italian). We have chosen only places with a declared gluten-free offering and, when a certification is reported only by third-party websites, we say so clearly.

Phone before you go. Opening hours, menus and procedures can change: if you can, book ahead and tell them you have coeliac disease before you order, as AIC recommends.

Restaurants

Five restaurants for a full meal, from Piedmontese trattoria to Sicilian cooking and even Mexican. Four are part of the AFC programme according to AIC Piemonte or the restaurant's own website; for Il Vicolo, membership is reported only by third-party sources.

Almondo Nuovo and Kipling are right next to each other, in Via Mazzini near Piazza Bodoni: if one is full, you can try the other. At all of them it is best to book and to say straight away that you have coeliac disease.

  • Locanda TerraMare – Cucina del Sud

San Salvario · Via Silvio Pellico 2B (corner of Via Belfiore), 10125 Torino

Sicilian seafood and meat dishes made with gluten-free ingredients: corn and rice linguine with clams, risotto with langoustine cream, sea bass with steamed vegetables, citrus semifreddo. The restaurant states that it has separate areas and utensils; it is small, about twenty covers, so it is best to book.

    Phone: 011 19032953

  • Almondo Nuovo

City centre (Piazza Bodoni) · Via Giuseppe Mazzini 12A, 10123 Torino

A Piedmontese trattoria with an almost entirely gluten-free menu: all the first courses (primi) also come gluten-free (tajarin alla monferrina, thin egg pasta; ravioli di magro, meatless ravioli; riso al salto, pan-fried risotto) and most of the starters, main courses and desserts are gluten-free for everyone, from vitello tonnato (veal in tuna sauce) to bonet (a Piedmontese chocolate pudding). Open every day for lunch and dinner.

    Phone: 011 9776825

  • Kipling Restaurant & Wines

City centre (Piazza Bodoni) · Via Giuseppe Mazzini 10, 10123 Torino

Piedmontese, Mediterranean and international cooking with a large menu for people with coeliac disease, where the gluten-free dishes are marked ‘(s.g.)’: vitello tonnato, agnolotti filled with braised beef, gnocchi, guacamole with tacos and desserts. The restaurant has been an AIC member since 2012 and is open all day, every day.

    Phone: 011 8126883

  • Revolucion

Madonna del Pilone / Borgo Po · Corso Casale 194/b, 10132 Torino

Mexican food (tacos, fajitas, alambre) and a tequila and mezcal bar in an AIC-certified restaurant. The website does not say which dishes are gluten-free and there is no dedicated menu: ask the staff. Open for dinner only, closed on Mondays.

    Phone: 011 8900073

  • Il Vicolo

City centre (Via Po / Piazza Vittorio area) · Via San Francesco da Paola 41, Torino

Specialises in risottos, more than twenty of them, with a full gluten-free menu running alongside the traditional one, from crêpes to breaded cutlet (cotoletta); instead of bread they serve corn triangles. It has no website of its own: the link goes to its official Facebook page. AFC membership is reported only by third-party sources, so check it on the AIC Mobile app.

    Phone: 011 535233

Pizzerias

A good gluten-free pizza depends on the dough, the oven and the toppings. In Piedmont, pizzerias in the AFC programme must have two ovens and two sets of trays, that is, an oven and topping containers kept for gluten-free use only (source: AIC, basic rules of the AFC programme, in Italian).

Tëgamino Zero-G and Cammafà ZERO are entirely gluten-free; Flegrea and Nonna Cleme also make traditional pizza and prepare the gluten-free one separately. Pizzeria Zero Glutine, despite its name, is a mixed kitchen that joined the AFC network in August 2026.

  • Tëgamino Zero-G

Campidoglio · Via Giacomo Medici 88/a, 10145 Torino

Turin-style pizza al tegamino (pan-baked pizza), thin and crispy Roman pizza and farinata (chickpea flatbread), all gluten-free and lactose-free, with plenty of vegan options. Few seats: it mostly does takeaway and delivery, including deliveries by e-bike.

    Phone (WhatsApp too): 351 6277392

  • Flegrea

    San Salvario · Corso Massimo d'Azeglio 114, 10126 Torino

A Neapolitan pizzeria since 1976: every pizza on the menu can be ordered with gluten-free dough, baked in a dedicated oven in a kitchen kept separate from the rest. The farinata and most of the desserts are gluten-free too; open every day from 7 pm to 11 pm.

    Phone: 011 0373846

  • Nonna Cleme

City centre · Via Principe Amedeo 41/A, 10123 Torino

Pizza in pala (long pizza baked on a peel) and pizza by the slice (al trancio), gourmet ones too, with gluten-free and lactose-free bases, plenty of vegan options and a gluten-free aperitivo (early-evening drinks and snacks) as well. Opening hours differ from one source to another: check them before you go.

    Phone: 011 0203346

  • Cammafà ZERO – 100% Senza Glutine

Santa Rita / Piazza Galimberti · Piazza Tancredi Galimberti 23/B, 10134 Torino

An entirely gluten-free Neapolitan pizzeria: pizzas, focaccia, panuozzi (sandwiches made with pizza dough), fried food, first courses and desserts. The dough uses deglutinated wheat flour and corn starch: it is fine for people with coeliac disease, not for people with a wheat allergy or intolerance. It has no website of its own: the link goes to its official Instagram profile.

    Phone: 333 2683461

  • Pizzeria Zero Glutine (‘Zero Gluten’)

Borgo San Paolo · Via Monginevro 43, 10141 Torino

Pizzas, kebabs, piadine (flatbread wraps), sandwiches and fried food, also in gluten-free versions, open until late at night. Despite its name it is not an entirely gluten-free place: when you order, ask how they handle gluten-free preparation.

No official website or confirmed phone number: its entry into the AFC network was announced by AIC Piemonte on 7 August 2026 (in Italian).

Bakeries and pastry shops

All three make birthday or custom cakes. If you need to avoid lactose as well as gluten, everything at Reborneat is lactose-free and Chicchisani has dairy-free options.

Borgo Po: Via Monferrato 5, 10131 Torino

    Phone: 011 5861080 (Arcivescovado), 011 19506672 (Filadelfia)

Gelato shops

At the gelato counter there are two questions to ask: are the cones gluten-free too? Is the scoop for my flavour clean? Contamination also comes from surfaces and utensils (source: AIC, cross-contamination, in Italian), which is why for each place we say what the sources report about the cones.

At Gonetti and Papalele everything is gluten-free, cones included. Papalele and Mara dei Boschi have been awarded Gambero Rosso's Tre Coni (‘Three Cones’), while Grom is a chain with a national agreement with AIC: membership has to be checked shop by shop.

  • Gelateria Gonetti

Pozzo Strada · Via Candido Viberti 11/B, 10141 Torino

Everything on the counter is gluten-free: gelato, cones, sponge cake and crumble. There are lactose-free, vegan and no-added-sugar flavours, semifreddi and ice-cream cakes; you can order online and collect in the shop. Open every day from 10 am to 8 pm.

    Phone (WhatsApp too): 011 0370998

According to the official website the gelato is gluten-free and the Via Berthollet and Corso De Gasperi branches are AIC-certified; gluten-free cones are mentioned only in customer reviews, so ask for confirmation at the counter.

    Phone: 011 0769557 (Berthollet), 011 18891679 (De Gasperi), 011 0266159 (Piazza Carlina)

  • Grom – Via Accademia delle Scienze

City centre (Piazza Carignano / Museo Egizio) · Via Accademia delle Scienze 4, 10123 Torino

According to AIC, in the Grom gelato shops that are part of the AFC programme the gelato, cones, crêpes and drinks are always gluten-free; the croissants, however, contain gluten.
